Day 1
Time : 3:00 pm
Kigali city excursion & depart for Nyungwe
Indulge in a delightful cup of Rwandan tea or coffee served at your hotel in Kigali before embarking on your journey. Meet your knowledgeable driver guide for a briefing, then set off on a captivating city tour with your luggage conveniently packed in the vehicle. Explore iconic attractions such as the former presidential palace museum and the Kigali Memorial Ground, as well as artisan centers, during your approximately 2-hour tour.
Day 2

Chimpanzee trek & guided canopy walking
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, head to the briefing center early in the morning, departing from your lodge around 4-5 am. Receive a comprehensive briefing on chimpanzee trekking rules and guidelines before embarking on an exciting search for the chimpanzee community in either Cyamudongo or Uwinka, led by an experienced park guide.
Spend 2-4 hours exploring the lush landscapes of Nyungwe, encountering chimpanzees and a variety of other primates along the way. Marvel at the diverse wildlife, including olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, Dent’s Mona monkeys, Hamlyn’s monkeys, Angola colobus monkeys, Owl-faced monkeys, and more.
